Bran, Fae Shifters is the story of Bran St. Clair and Black Hawk/Michael Mato, Chief of the Bear Shifter Clans. We meet them both of them in the first book of the Fae Shifter Series, Devitt. Michael plays an integral part in helping save our heroine, Sienna’s life. He stops her from hurting herself while under an evil compulsion then goes about helping the men in her life Heal her. He also acts as a mentor to a heartbroken Rhys, a young Fae who bonded to Dev and his mate but isn’t part of their mate-set. (Don’t worry, Rhys will get his own book!)
In the second book of the Series, Bran, we get to know both men better. Bran is living on the Earth Plane, hunting for murderous Fae traitors who escaped Faedom. Once he finds the remaining Fae that is trying to overthrow his rule, he and Michael can finally be together. But then, Bran discovers his true mate is a female who runs the Hogg Trough Biker Bar. While his soul rejoices that he’s found his long-sought-after true mate, his heart is broken because he’s loved Michael for six centuries. But to save his mate, Josie, Bran has to turn to his old lover.
In my new ‘prequel’ we get to watch these two men meet and work out their feelings for one another. The story begins in pre-colonial America, somewhere in the mid-1400s. It gives more depth and understanding of the love story that’s just under the surface in Dev and gets its conclusion in Bran, Fae Shifters Book Two.
