I know some characters are hard to let go of. Well, for me at least. When I fall for a character or a couple, I want to continue to check in with them and see how life’s treating them. I want to catch up like old friends, ya know?
With Michael Reed, from Born a Halfling, I just sort of fell for him. He is such a survivor! He’s unashamed of who he is, but he had to overcome that hurdle of acceptance. The road was rocky, but he kept walking until he found his crown. The Queen’s crown, Drag Queen that is!
Anyway, I decided to work on a few free stories that would let the readers see into the past, where Jessie and Micheal first meet. That time in their lives helped Michael heal from not only his war injuries but set his psychological struggles on the path to recovery. He eventually finds his way to the stage, but these stories check in with the throuple and give us insight into their lives.
I hope you enjoy these stories and it gives you the same warm fuzzies I got about not only Michael but Jessie and Garth. I plan on making this free Wattpad series a continuing story until my men have told their stories.
